The PSA is giving us the information on how long it takes to create an accident to try and get teens to stop and doing it. Due to the AT&T’s teens driving survey, 97% of the teens agreed that texting and driving was terrible and harmful but yet 43% do it still. NHTSA included the five seconds of the road to get people to be more careful since in short of a time you can damage your life by distraction of electronics 660,000.
