The Day The Stuffed Animals Were Kidnaped

We were playing outside in the yard that fateful day, when we were kidnapped…
“Dotty throw the ball,” called one of my siblings, most likely Orca.
“Okay,” I said as I tossed the ball to Orca, who tossed it to Fluffy, who tossed it to Rudolph, who tossed it to Bowser, who finally tossed it back to me. The cycle went on and on.
Fluffy, Orca, Bowser, Rudolph, and myself, Dotty, all lived in Fluffer and Stuffer Town. It was almost autumn and we were starting school in a week. I am a stuffed animal and so are all of my siblings (there are about 150 of them). The funny thing is all of us are different types of animals. I am a dog by the way and so are Orca and Bowser. Rudolph is a reindeer and Fluffy

We walked on and on for hours and hours. We were thirsty and frozen. Finally, Rudolph said, “ Look I see our neighborhood, Foxbourne.” We were so happy. Soon we came upon 10587 West Elk Place (our house.) We walked inside only to find, that no one was home. It was dark and warm. Then we checked what time it was, and it was 12:00 …show more content…
Everyone liked this idea so we quietly and quickly climbed into our beds and fell asleep
“THEY’RE BACK, MOM, DAD - DOTTY, RUDOLPH, FLUFFY, ORCA AND, BOWSER ARE BACK,” was the first thing I heard when I woke up in the morning. I jumped up into Mom and Dad’s arms. Their arms were so comforting. I wanted this hug to last forever, but of course, Mom and Dad had to hug everyone that had been kidnapped so they let go. Everyone was so happy.
“ Once we found out that you were missing from the front yard, we called the police,” said Mom,” your brother Spotty saw a big semi truck pulling away from our house 3 days ago. He told us, he even knew the license plate. 445677 is what he said. The Bear Police pulled over the truck and found no one in it other than 2 wanted criminals, Dr. X and Dr. Z. they wanted to kidnap you because they thought that you knew something that they had done and thought we were going to report them. They had stolen about $9,999,999 from a bank. We were so worried about where you guys were. The police took the criminals to jail. Don't worry, they will never be out on the streets

The story that resonated with me the most was The Pink Stuffed Teddy Bear. In my perception, this was a perfect example of a transportation story that successfully achieved juxtaposing the persistent and the liminal. As I first began reading the story, I was immediately transported to an airport. I was able to be transported when author said “we all recognize this person in airports…” because I have been to the airport many times, so I was able to mentally categorize all the types of people that I have seen. She goes on to describe a businessman, and just like the author I formed a negative opinion of him.…
