There was once a pincher who knicked a lorry, and she was known as Sally the Swindler because she was as bent as a nine-bob note, but she was caught bang to rights by Policeman Pat.
“You, in the black truck! This has the license plate of a stolen car. You’re coming with me.” He told her.
“But this is my truck. I am just out for a drive to calm my nerves before bed.”
“We both know that you are lying, so just come out from the truck, and you won’t get hurt” Pat warned, queering her pitch.
“I give up trying to win with you lot. Now can I go?” she asked as she got out.
“No. What are you talking about? You’re going to jail, as we have admonished you about thievery uncountable times.
