The balloon went further, and further until it was out of the house. The house was as enormous as the white house. I quickly ran through the gates, and onto the road, but no one seemed to notice me until my mom turned, and saw me crossing the road chasing the balloon that had sadly left my hands. I started to cry, I wasn’t aware of what was going on, so I just kept chasing the balloon. I was halfway across the road, and all of the sudden a tricycle accelerated so fast, not knowing if someone was crossing the road, the driver just kept going and going. SCREECH!!! “I can’t feel anything!” I could feel tears dripping down my face. I was in so much pain, and I couldn’t help but notice the people around me, in shock. I can’t believe this happened to me, why did it happen to me?, was it the universe telling me to listen, and not wander off? It was all my fault, that one idiotic mistake, that one accident that could’ve taken my life, so much more could’ve happened. But, I chose to run after a balloon because my mind kept telling me, that the balloon was way more important than my own life. What would my parents had done if they lost me? Will they ever forgive me for making such a massive mistake?
I was immediately sent to the emergency room, with a broken left leg. I have awakened after my surgery feeling dizzy, and weak.
I wore a gigantic cast, it was entirely wrapped around my left leg, almost as if I was my leg was paralyzed. It was a cement cast, the hardest type of cast anyone can ever have. I must stay in the hospital for another week, for regular check-ups, and diagnostics. I was required to sit in a wheel for the next month, until my leg had healed, since it was amputated an inch or two, it took longer to heal, than most
