I live in a magical world. No really I do. Everyone here can do magic! Well not quite everyone I can not yet but I’m just not old enough. Soon I will go to the Council and they will determine if I am able to start practicing magic. I hopefully will be good enough to join our militia and fight for my country. Antalashia is a great place to live I do not know why anyone would want to leave. The Council makes smart decisions that keep us safe and protected. Millions of years ago they built a huge wall that keeps dangerous beings out and keeps us in so we can not venture out and get hurt. The Council picks ten people every year to leave but I would turn them down if they picked me I like it here. I’ll give you the tour of Antalashia come on! Right now we are standing in the Council building down the hall from …show more content…
That is why up next we will see our hospital. See how it floats? That is to keep the germs from the ground off of it. We pride ourselves in the sterilization of our hospital. That is about all that there is to show you though down this road is the housing district. Every house is the same built to conserve space. The insides are very unique though. Everyone decorates them to their own sense of style. My house has every room a different color! How fun is that?!? Then of course this is the main gate into Antalashia. That is all that there is to show you. Such a lovely place is it not? Oh my goodness! I can't believe I forgot to show you the gardens! It is where we grow all of our crops that we live off of. Antalashia is a vegetarian society because meat is bad for your health; our science department in our hospital discovered that. It is over here we grow fruits, vegetables, anything you can think of nuts and legumes too. There now that is all of Antalashia! I hope that you enjoyed it here. Now you better get back to the courtyard it is almost time for the Council to announce who is leaving. Oh gods i hope it is not

It has been eight years since I last visited Glen Ellen Farm, but it is as fresh in my mind as if I was there yesterday. I always referred to Glen Ellen as my Aunt Debbie’s farm, but I eventually learned there is a long history with this place. An engineer for the B&O Railroad line originally built and owned the property in the 1850s. In 1874, the property was sold to Professor Herbert Thompson and his wife, Lady Ellen Thompson, who were from London. It was four years later when he and his wife opened Glen Ellen Academy at the manor house.…

My experiences over the last six years living in NYC have shaped me into the approachable and compassionate person I am today. I have been immersed in a melting pot with many different culturally and economically diverse populations. These unique experiences have broadened my horizons and allowed me to gain valuable communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I searched out opportunities to give back and help the people in my community both in volunteering in hospitals, educating high school students, and interning in private practices. I even traveled with the organization Medlife, setting up a medical clinic to provide basic medical care and education to people in the poor and underserved communities surrounding Lima, Peru.…

Andrew O’Kula A small streak of pink began to emanate from a slim point along the horizon as the late afternoon slipped into the evening. There had not been a cloud in the sky to ruin this beautiful picture the sky had created all day. And being that it was still early in June, that had turned out to be a very long day. Our hands were covered in dirt while our arms glistened with a thin sheet of sweat.…

He dips one finger in and scoops out some of the frozen treat, he then begins smearing it down my chest and stops at my belly button.…
