After my mom and I finished washing my horse we went and cleaned out the horse trailer. I never knew how much work this was going to be, but I enjoyed cleaning out the trailer because I felt like I was being helpful. My alarm clock startled me when it went off. As soon i was finished getting dressed i went outside to help my mom finish getting my horse ready. My mom taught me how to put the fancy show halter on, and then all three of us went to the arena to practice our pattern. I went in there standing tall and feeling confident. I could not wait to show the judge what i could do! Smacker and I got done with the pattern, I was feeling pretty good about our performance except for the fact Smackers did not trot. Once a week, I went to a nice barn to learn how to stay on top of a horse, and I learned how to braid a mane and tail and how to take apart and put together a bridle. When I entered middle school, I entered a new side of the horse world. My neighbor, who owned the horse with a huge head, still had horses and I quickly began to learn how different horses could be kept.…

As humans we use steroids to enhance ourselves. In the article Prezi it states that “many are having their horses put on illegal performance enhancing drugs that are most likely and could kill them.” As humans we see animals as nothing but tools to entertain us. For instance we take part in horse racing, animal fighting, bull riding etc. I believe that animal sports is too harsh for the animals because it puts the animals in a lot of unnecessary stress.…

It had already been determined for me that I was going to race motocross before I was born. Although my family has since moved on from racing, it had been everything for as long as I can remember. I clearly remember the loud and hectic Friday nights and the chaotic Sunday mornings spent at the track. The dedication we, my two brothers and I, had towards the extreme sport and the dedication our parents showed towards our passion will forever be apart of me. By the time I was born, my family had already tried many various forms of racing: BMX, snowcross, or snowmobiles, four wheelers, and dirt bikes.…
