There are numerous different ways of learning, such as musical, visual spatial, logical mathematical, naturalistic, bodily-kinesthetic, linguistic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal. All the learning styles are different, but what is my learning style? This is what I learned about the learning style assessment I took, what I received, and about the different activities that I can work better in. Anyways, the best way of learning for me is linguistic.

After taking the learning style assessment, I learned that I am a visual learner. According to the article “Edutopia”, it said that people who are linguistic is often associated with doing well in school. I like to listen, but I like to have a little bit of fun when I have been working for momentary.

Learning is not easy; to learn something, it takes time and effort. We tend to learn things by our interest, also our learning styles, which we are depended upon. Everyone has different types of learning styles and those learning styles vary among each individual. We can have multiple interests as well as; we can also have multiple learning styles too. The Multiple Intelligences theory proposed by Howard Gardner has 8 multiple intelligences; visual (prefers to see things), verbal/linguistic (prefers using words), logical/mathematical (prefers using logic), physical/kinesthetic (prefers using body), aural/auditory (prefers to hear things), interpersonal/social (prefers to learn in groups), intrapersonal/solitary (prefers to work alone), and…

In the learning style assessments that I have taken the most important things I have learned about myself and the way I learn, is how I grasp information through a more logical approach along with visuals. I have experienced this in the duration of my first college semester and also throughout High School as well. I have always gravitated toward technological/scientific oriented classes. Computer Maintenance was my favorite course in High School. I experienced hands on IT work fixing computers, and visuals of computer components.…

I learn the best when I am actually interested in the subject and when there is nothing distracting me paying close attention to what I need to know. I dont really learn by writing things down because I dont study so I dont look back at things I have written. Listening to hear is actually one of the ways I learn best because I do not like reading things I prefer listening to them for a better visualization. Visualizing things also helps a lot because sometimes picturing things in your head its easier to learn as well in my opinion. In class I work in the middle because its never fast or too slow when I work fast its because I feel the urge to finish as fast as possible and when I work slow its because I am not in the mood or I dont understand the work.…

The learning style assessment, in my opinion was very accurate with how I feel I study. The assessment consisted of a variety of questions that range from our everyday life out of school to the way we do stuff in classes. Some of the questions asked allowed you to choose multiple answers, which I feel they should have allowed this for the entire assessment rather than just a few. Once completing the assessment, it gave you a breakdown out of all three learning styles; audio, hands on, and visual, which one is your most used way of learning and then listed the rest in a different order following. Each individual learning style had a percentage next to it and also an understanding of what exactly it is below the scores.…

The way in which someone learn is different for everyone. After taking the VARK survey it determined that I have a multimodal learning preference in two categories, aural and reading and writing. After reviewing the results from the survey I was not surprised with the outcome because I feel like those are the best ways in which I learn. Also these two styles have really transitioned nicely into my all my classes from my first year to the start of my third year. For me to learn the best I like to have notes in front of me to write down what the teacher is lecturing about.…

As, depending on what I am learning or the activity I am partaking in really determines the way I learn. I don?t have one set of learning styles as I have found in the past that the way I learn doesn?t necessarily work with doing the same activity. In respect, to training others it could be said that I am more of a pragmatic person. The reason being is that I like to tend to play role with ideas about which clips or activities and to get my point across to the trainee.…

Whether through mandatory schooling or through the social interaction we have as humans, we are always learning, and just as all teachers don’t have the same teaching style, all students have different learning styles. They are greatly affected by their personal learning styles, sometimes impeding their progress through school and their ability to succeed. The barriers to my learning in many classrooms can generally be traced back to an unorganized classroom structure and an unwelcoming learning environment where students feel they cannot go to the professor for help. A more communicative learning environment between professor and student would be beneficial for both parties, especially if the learning environment was designed specifically for the students’ learning styles.…

    My Teaching Style Analysis

Being an after school “coach” is not as easy as one might think, the hardest part , if i do say so myself, is learning how to, not just simply be a “coach” or “teacher figure”, but to really find the best technique to do so. Not a single person on this earth is the exact same equivalent as someone else, that being said, we all learn differently from one another. That is probably the single most important thing that stood out for me in my experiences working with students, however i do find that most teaching styles are definitely more successful when the teacher uses illustrations, examples, and hands on based education. For example, sixth grade was perhaps the most memorable school year of all my educational years, because, although I may…
