When I had first heard about Dunes through youth group at Good Shepherd, I thought it would be a fun three day trip to the beach with a bunch of my good friends. Little did I know, I would learn many new things that really inspired me and persuaded me to grow in ways I never thought I was capable of. Not only were these three days at the beach a very fun time with my friends, it was somewhat very emotional as well. I learned so many new things about my peers and watched their relationship with God grow. I can confidently say that without Dunes, I wouldn't be the person I am today, and I am extremely thankful that I went and had the time of my life.
