In nursing we face ethical dilemmas all the time. It can be patient driven or employee/staffing driven. In provision 3.5- Protecting Patient Health and Safety by Actions of Questionable practice. This provision states “The Nurse acts to safeguard the client and the public when the health and safety are affected by the incompetent, unethical or legal practice by any person” (Fowler, 2015).
