• The community around Burnette is the same as in all Gwinnett county lots of diversity. Mostly consisting of majority cultures which are predominantly African American and Asian.
• Burnette belongs to the Peachtree Ridge cluster along with three other nearby elementary schools: Jackson, Mason, Parsons also there are two middle schools: Hull and Northbrook and lastly they all share the same high school which is Peachtree Ridge.

The gym allows students to get all of their energy out and be able to be themselves for a moment. The gym is a very wide with lots of space inside there are two basketball courts. One quick observation I saw was the placement of the windows were extremely high on top. Furthermore, Ms. Cochran is a very bodily kinesthetic orientated teacher. Her teaching pedagogy mostly involves her using movement and getting students to do lots of movements. I had the opportunity to observe her and her teaching my CT’s class. “Individual” services: There a different amount of services offered to meet each student’s need. There are ELL services offered to students who do not speak English as their primary language. There are different teachers available to help these students from Speech and ESL. In addition, to ELL services there are Special Needs services for those students who have any sort of learning disability. Lastly, there are also gifted services for those students who are little advanced compared to the rest of their peers. To determine the placement of a student into any of the individual services there are assessments needed. Assessment allow teachers and other paraprofessionals decide what is the best solution for the
