A multidisciplinary team in healthcare is essentially a group of healthcare professionals from different career pathways who all work together to provide comprehensive patient care. The multidisciplinary team approach is a collaborative process in which all of the professionals work together to treat the patients while fulfilling the needs and wishes of the patients and the patient's family.
