Don’t dread the days of incompetent, think of these days are the basic foundation pathway that we needed to become the best competent nurse we will one day. I agree with you that we all need times and experiences to take us to the next level of competence. That is one of reasons that I constantly ask questions and ask the nurses to allow me to perform tasks to help me gain as much knowledge and experiences as I could. As long as we continues to search for learning experiences and apply update evidence base research practice, we will become the expert faster we will realized.
