Morongo preserve.

My semester project was to clean the Morongo preserve. I went with my friends sergio and anthony to the preserve. We were all meeting up at the preserve around 8:00 am. My friends and I were suppose to do this for a semester project in MS Zacks class. This was all possible because my mom took the time to drive me to the Morongo Preserve drop me off and pick me up after.
The ecological perspective of my project is that the animals who lived near the preserve won't be affected by the clutter of dead branches, and overgrown shrubs anymore sor at least a while. When we were done cutting the branches we threw them behind the bush so that later on if needed an animal can make its home. Another way cutting back shrubs and dead

My set of mind on this matter of is a positive point of view because I can say i helped my community, and I can be useful to it. The water we depend on the most is groundwater. Almost 50% of the United States depends on groundwater. Drinking contaminated groundwater can have serious health effects. Diseases such as hepatitis and dysentery may be caused by contamination from septic tank waste.
When me and my fellow peers were at the preserve trimming the trail there were Mesquite shrubs that were tall and super sharp. We as a team had to put one branch at a time care fully into the tarp so I can haul them away. I learned even the most cool looking of the plants out there could be harmfull. I also learned how to handle some tools and how to get allot of branches ,and weeds to the dump at the ranger outpost.
Lessons are important in life I learned one on my project don't mess with mesquite. One other important lesson I learned and you could is watch where you step I almost tripped a couple of times ny rock and steep stairs. One strength about my personality is that I don't give up if I like it. A weakness of my personality is that i'm lazy, and i need to change how I don't like to do work but I still

The Great Bear Rainforest is a temperate rainforest of 6.4 million hectares, home to many rare and endangered species, as well as watersheds that provide the best salmon runs left in Canada. Unfortunately, the Great Bear Rainforest is under threat due to clearcutting and its effects on the environment. According to the David Suzuki Foundation, “30% of logging in the Great Bear Rainforest has been in watersheds since 2001”, meaning the water quality of that area has been affected. As for wildlife, deforestation is one of the leading causes of animal extinction in the world today. Due to the negative effects deforestation has on wildlife and watersheds, the acts of clearcutting in the Great Bear Rainforest must subside.…

Some trees are endangered and if no proper precautions are taken, those trees will be at a very serious risk of extinction. For example, “the so-called sex tree, Citropsis articulata, is quickly disappearing from Uganda 's Mabira Forest Reserve, one of the country 's last remaining rain forests, because its roots are believed to cure impotence” (Okeowo). Therefore, efforts should be made to preserve the endangered trees so that the next generation can also benefit from these trees. Forests are of two different types; some forests are natural and others are man-made.…
