This dream that MLK Jr. had was so idealistic and revolutionary that it helped change the way that many people look at race in the world today. He helped sway the minds of millions to act and get rid of racism in America with simple but meaningful words to guide them on this amazing journey to freedom. He wanted to tell people that in his vision of America everyone will get along with each other and work together as friends. This statement was also meant to encourage people to stand up for what they believe in even when all of the odds seemed to be against them. MLK Jr. hoped that by giving the people a encouraging and empowering speech he would build the force necessary to finally end racism in America forever.
