Milton Friedman was an American economist and educationalist. His school of thought was focused on monetarism. He advanced in the field of macroeconomics. Friedman made numerous contributions to the school of economics, but his major contribution was consumption analysis and to monetary history and theory, including observations of the complexity of stabilization policy (Milton Friedman – Facts). In 1976 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics.
Milton Friedman was born July 31, 1912 in Brooklyn, New York, was raised in Rahway, New Jersey from when he was one years old, and died in San Francisco, California on November 16, 2006. His father had many failings with job ventures and his mother ran a dry goods retail store. His family
