First: When facing ethical issue, we need to clearly know what is happening. Don’t rush and think about it to see if it is ethical or unethical. Because “It prevents rash decisions, prepares us for more thoughtful discernment, and can allow us to mobilize our discipline.” (blink.ucsd.edu)
Second: Once we clarify and decide the situation, we need to think about what is the best way to deal with the problem. Some solutions can maximum the benefits but some are not and we should think about what result would the solutions bring.
Third: I think this as an important step. Evaluate the solutions’ value carefully. Ethical issue can be difficult to decide; therefore it is necessary to balance the loss and gain.
