He took part in numerous charity events such as Boys and Girls Club of America, Special Olympics, UNCF/College Fund, and many more. He also joined forces with Nike to donate half a million dollars to reconstruct a gymnasium for charity events. Aside from these different charities, he has been donating a good amount of money to hospitals and children in need all over the world. In 2005 of March, Jordan met a 16-year-old boy, Ryan Aubert from Los Angeles who has autism and has experienced multiple seizures. He has a 5-year-olds mental capacity. He loved the game of basketball and understood it very well. All he wanted to do was watch his favorite player Michael Jordan. Jordan had a conversation with Wayne Aubert, the father of Ryan. He wanted to learn about Ryan’s seizures and help out in any way possible. He commended Wayne for sticking with Ryan’s situation because a lot of fathers will leave.
