Michael Clifford's Life-Personal Narrative

When I woke up at 8:58 on Tuesday morning, obviously late for my first period of the day, with none other than Michael Clifford's arms wrapped around my waist I panicked. But then the memories of the night before rushed through my head. The rocks on my window, the climbing through said window, the confession, the drunken kiss. Everything. I didn't know what to do, so I stayed completely still until he finally stirred. His eyes opened slightly, squinting at the bright light of the sun that was seeping through the white curtains of my bedroom. Michael grumbled, burrowing his face into my back and tightened his arms around my waist. I tried to wiggle out of his tight grip without waking him but failed miserably.

"Adeline," he muttered into my

It was the third period, which meant Michael and I had art together. He smirked as he wrapped an arm around my body, pressing his soft lips against my temple. People from inside the classes watched us through the window, eyes wide and jaw-slacked. I guess no one thought that neither Michael or I could actually get into a relationship with one another. I smirked and stopped, wanting to put on a slight show for them as they continued to stare at the two of us. Michael seemed slightly confused as I stood there and wrapped my arms around his neck, playing with the hair that sat on the nape of it. He looked over to the student filled classroom that seemed to have all their attention on us, and smirked, understanding what I was doing. He pressed his lips against mine roughly, and I kissed back just as hard. My fingers continued to play with the hairs at the nape of his neck as his hands roamed my body like it was new territory, which to him, it was. His hands eventually found their way to my breasts, cupping the right one and massaging it lightly with his fingers over my bra.

"Michael Clifford and Adeline Dempsey please report to the principals office immediately," a slightly nasally voice rang through the parking lot as Michael and I continued to make out. We separated after a few seconds, catching our breath lightly before I pulled him into the school to the principals office. I had spent a lot of time in here, and from what I remember, so has Michael, so it wasn't a foreign

There was something addicting and striking about watching Matthew sleep. He was so gorgeous, and he looked so peaceful. He was such a busy kid, he was enrolled in so many classes, and he was constantly practicing for band. But out of all the things to do in that moment, Matthew had chosen to curl up beside Logan, lay his head on his lap, and lose himself in unconscious vulnerability. And he had done so very willingly, placing himself completely and wholly into Logan’s care without question.…

I lift my hips in encouragement and feel his every stroke land in the deepest part of my belly. He shifts forward, because he knows my body also, and swirls his hips, eliciting a long, low moan from me. He releases my hands to capture my breasts, pausing the ramming of his hips against mine to suck on them hard, pinching the skin and biting the tender swells. When he showers my shoulders and neck with kisses and love bites, I grasp and pull him into me. "Ugh, Jim, make me…"…

    Eternal Sunshine Identity

Identity and one’s comprehension of the self are thought to be profoundly influenced by the individual’s memory. Hence, one may not only view the self as a concept or as an image, but also “think of the self as one’s memory for oneself” (Klein). Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind sets the focus on this dynamic, examining the impairment imposed on its characters’ perception of their own identity caused by the selective memory erasure. The film portrays the disruption of the consciousness engendered by labored forgetting. As its protagonists struggle with existential crises as a consequence of their treatment, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind challenges the pivotal importance of memory not only in our comprehension of the past, but also our perception of ourselves.…

Billy Wingate sat stubbornly, with crossed arms, outside his principal’s office, waiting to be summoned inside. His mother strode towards him, flummoxed by her son’s reportedly aggressive behaviour, even though this was her third visit. “Billy, I thought I told you that everyone is free to do what they want, especially your friends,” whispered Billy’s mom, as she approached her troubled son. “Ah, Mrs. Wingate!…
