What is Mexico? Mexico is food, Mexico is music, traditions, and history. Mexico is deserts, mountains, jungles, and seas. But most of all Mexico is defined by its people, the warmth in their smiles, the love in the families. The unity of a country. Mexico is beautiful! Mexico’s culture and its history have been shappened throughout the years. Since Mexican revolution, Mexico has shown to be a brave country, with brave people. A country shaped by great effort and sacrifice. Shaped by the blood, and tears of our heroes. A country of warriors! Mexico is a diverse country. A touristic country. In Mexico you will find historical buildings, and paleothology museums. You will find acuariums, and art museums. All of this reminds us of everything …show more content…
Well, Mexico is characterized for all its “FIESTAS”. Some of the most important celebrations that this country has are: “El Dia de los Muertos”, celebrated on November 2nd. In this day, people honor their loved ones who passed away. “Revolution Day” celebrated on November 20th . In this day Mexicans do a “Desfile” they honor their heroes, the ones who granted them freedom. Most of Mexican people are catholic, and when a girl turns 15, they do a mass to thank God for her life, she wears a fancy, and unusual dress, and it is a way of presenting her to society as a new young woman, and after the mass they do a big “Fiesta”. Another time for doing a big “Fiesta” is when a couple wants to get married, and they usually do a mass to to ask God to bless their love, and after the mass they also do a big celebration. Are you hungy? If not this will make you hungry! Mexico has many regional foods, for example in the north, we eat “carne asada”, and “cheese quesadillas”. In the south they eat “bacalao”, exotic food like “escamoles” (ant eggs), “chapulines, among others, and they don’t usually eat “cheese quesadillas” their quesadillas are usually of “flor de calabaza” or “champinones”. Yes, Mexico has regional foods, but there are also foods that are eaten all around the country, like mole, tamales, enchiladas, tacos,beans, nopales, atoles, tequila, champurrado, sopes, and of course tortillas.
