Happiness
Since each individual will experiences happiness differently, I decided to avoid categorizing happiness into situations such as “how often the individual smiles” or “how often they go out with friends”. Instead of inaccurately assuming that a happy person must participate in multiple social gatherings a week, this method of questioning allows every applicant to share a response that they feel accurately represents their state of “happiness”. The first question focused on the amount of exercise the student is getting because the suggested daily amount is 30 minutes of moderate exercise. Many students, especially those who live on campus or have a heavy class load are constantly stationary and do not set enough time to exercise. Likewise, the decision to formulate a question regarding the student’s eating schedule was because many students do not maintain regular, healthy eating habits. By asking whether or not students eat all 3 meals of the day, the question is effectively capturing the answer to whether or not McMaster students are taking proper care of
