Maya Vs Inca Essay

Today I will be comparing and contrasting the Maya, the Aztec, and the Inca tribes. I will do an overall paragraph about the location, time periods, and capitals of the three tribes. Then, I will start off with the Maya tribe. Then I will be talking about the Aztec, and lastly I will be talking about the Inca. The location of the Mayan tribe was in as we know today as Southern Mexico and the Northern parts of Central America including the now occupied by the nations of Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador. The creation of the Maya was in 3113-3114 B.C. The start of the Maya was in 2600 B.C. and the end was in A.D. 1517. Then the capital of the Maya was Tikal. The location of the Aztec was in Mexico and Guatemala. The start of the Aztec civilization was in 1428 and the end was in 1521. The capital of the Aztec was Tenochtitlan. The location of the Inca was in pre-Columbian America and modern day Peru. The start of the Inca was in 1428 and the end was in 1533. Lastly, the capital of the Inca was in Cusco. First, I will compare the Aztecs and the Mayans. Both of the tribes have very many gods (polytheism) and for sacrifices they would both sacrifice humans. The Incas government was a monarchy government while the Aztec government got its structure from all of its social units. The tribes religion was also different, the Aztec main god was the son god.
