I would like to talk to you about an important matter. I’m writing this letter to request your assistance in a subject in which I am at a disadvantage: mathematics. My most challenging academic goal this semester is to get at least a B in math and improve my math skills. I have always been at a huge disadvantage when it came to math even as a child I have always struggled. I need to improve my math skills so I could move on to the higher level math with confidence in myself that I am capable of doing the work and succeeding.
