However, Mary Stewart takes that story and works backwards. She wrote about the beginning of Arthur and his childhood. I have never heard any story about Arthur’s childhood. This is a beautiful backstory to the biggest legend in the world. There are a few things that I disliked, however. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this book to any friend or family member. But, there are a few things just bothered me. The first one being that there are not enough day-to-day records.
