John: That’s right Brian, Trump’s long road to the White House, as a crass, arrogant, buffoonish, ruthless, and mean-spirited individual. He made fun of his opponents’ intelligence or physical appearance, delivering insults with the zest of a poor comedian.
Tim: "Make America Great Again." The four words that would help propel Donald Trump to the White House as the 45th president of the United States. Managed to insult half the female population yet still pick up enough votes to win.

John: Trump won decisively in states across the country.
Brian: Trump has simultaneously been the most libertarian president since Thomas Jefferson according to political commentators.
Tim: Now that Trump is president, he must forge a governing philosophy beyond incendiary tweets, folksy slogans, and fiery campaign speeches. How is he going to make America great again?? At what cost?
Brian: The president-elect has an ambitious to-do list for the next four years: building stronger borders, keeping the country safe against terrorism, producing more jobs, investing in modern infrastructure. For someone who was so heavily doubted to win he is proving a point that money and ambition can give you power.
John: Ultimately, it will be up to the American people for whom "Make America Great Again" was a covenant, not a slogan, to decide whether the 45th president has lived up to his promise.
