Macbeth's Journey In Macbeth By William Shakespeare

MacBeth by William Shakespeare is a play that takes place in scotland. MacBeth is on a journey,he was manipulated by the evil witches who told Lady MacBeth that he could become the next king. MacBeth is a guy who has inner evil as well and his journey is based on his ambition and his problem with listing to people who try to help
The evil Sisters told him and Lady MacBeth that he could become the next king and because of his evil ambitions he listened instead of ignoring them. Lady MacBeth is also somebody who leads him into traps and he always listens to her. ”What beast was’t then, that made you break this enterprise to me? When you durst do it, then you were a man; and, to be more than what you were, you would be so much more the man” (I.vii. 53-57). After that he wants MacDuff’s son killed because the evil witches told him that there are other threats to become new king and he wants to get rid of them. After all of this MacBeth begins to start on his downfall when he learns that the witches are against him and that he will die a horrible death. So they tell him a riddle and he doesn't realize the riddle is telling him that he will die but he thinks he is immortal.
