Macbeth was moved by the prophecies of three witches which leads to his murder of King of Scotland and Banquo. It is fascinating for me because I also see mirror reflections between Macbeth and Banquo. Both of them are ambitious about what they will get according to the prophecies. They are both taking actions in order to get what they want. However, Their different actions reflect to each other. Banquo is not violently reaching his purpose but Macbeth is. The reflection of Banquo reminds Macbeth very much of his own cruelty and betrayal which pushed him even further on the criminal path. I believe this type of mirror reflection can also be found in the Breaking Bad between Walter White and Elliot. They both have the desire of making money but with different paths. The reason why Walter has so much hatred toward Elliot and Gretchin is because he sees the reflection of them making money legally and enjoying them. Whereas him, hiding the money and paying Soul for cover ups and not being able to admit his contribution to his family. More and more crimes has been committed by Walter after he made the decision of cooking meth with Jesse.
