Lowe's Case Study

A customer got an unwanted surprise when he was shopping at Lowe's one day. The customer, whose name has not been released, was shopping in the garden section in Lowe's. There was a copperhead snake in the garden section, and it bit the customer. The incident occurred in Denver, North Carolina, which is a city that is located about 25 miles from Charlotte.

When the Lowe's employees realized what happened, they immediately called 911. The customer was taken to the hospital and treated. Karen Cobb is the Lowe's spokesperson. She stated that the employees do not know how the snake could have got into the store. She also stated that a pest control company had recently visited the store, and they did not find any snakes.
