Linda Cliatt-Wayman was a principal at a failing high school in North Philadelphia. On her first day of school, she was determined to set the tone of her arrival. However, she soon realized that the job was more challenging than she anticipated. In order to turn around three schools labeled “low-performing and persistently dangerous”, she shared three important values. On the other hand, writer and artist Emilie Wapnick labels individuals who have a range of interests and jobs over one lifetime —“multipotentialites". For years, Wapnick battled with multiple interests in different skills and subjects.
