Throughout this stage, you are learning to decode words and who the people around you are. According to an online source, infancy consists of “vitality – The infant is a vibrant and seemingly unlimited source of energy. Babies thus represent the inner dynamo of humanity, ever fueling the fires of the human life cycle with new channels of psychic power.” An infant’s diet consists of milk, either breast milk or formula, softened foods, and in the later half whole foods. An infant is still not capable of caring for themselves and relies on their parents for diet, physical activities, and social events. Succeeding the infancy stage is early childhood or the toddler stage. This milestone stage consists of individuals between the age of three to six. Early childhood consists of physical growth, mental, and emotional health. For example, a child is learning how to properly use the bathroom and is also learning how to interact with others. Children are usually in some sort of educational program during this time and being taught the fundamentals of education as well as life.
