As an undergraduate attending a liberal-arts college, I noticed that I am taking classes that appear not have any purpose to my major and I am also being challenged to be a stronger individual. My skill set is progressing and I am developing into a well-balanced human being. There has been several controversies about liberal-arts universities and what they can do for students. After students graduate from college they have a difficult time finding a good paying job, and no matter what college you attend this will happen. The difference in attending a liberal-arts and going to a traditional college is that you have a greater chance in getting the job because graduating from a liberal-arts college is saying you have a great skill set and you can perform more effectively because you are a well-balanced person.
