Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci well known as Leonardo da Vinci has painted some of the most expensive and most know artworks in the world. Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15 1452, during the Italian renaissance in Vinci in Italy to parents Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci (dad), Caterina da Vinci (mum) who was once a peasant and slave for the middle east. Leonardo grew up in a large family with two sister and 10 brothers.
He spent the first five years of his childhood in hamlet of Anchiano and then him and part of his family moved to Francesco which is a small town in Vinci. His farther remarried a sixteen year old girl, Leonardo and her got along very well but she passed away very young. His lacked in showing the theory to his invention as his education was not as strong and they only learned basic mathematic, literature, a small about of Latin and a small amount of science none of the teachers paid attention to many of his inventions or art but his father was very impressed by them and sent him to an apprenticeship in Florence with Andrea del Verrocchio. In this workshop/ apprenticeship he learnt how birds worked by doing numerous sketches and then they moved on to ideas of helicopters and other flighting machines.
He kept drawing and did some traveling through Europe and he had 13000 pages of notes of things he had observed, breakthroughs he had heard of and ideas he had that he could turn into draw as well he had drawings too in the
