Chapter 4: On September 18, 2015 at Leonard Orthodontics in North Andover, my appearance changed. My appointment was on a Friday around 9 a.m. I was going to get braces! I was so nervous but also excited to see what I’d look like. At home before the appointment I took a before picture of my smile. I had a gap in between my two front teeth and crooked bottom teeth. She first started putting rings on my four back teeth. My teeth were so small that it was tricky to find the right size ring to fit them.
