There were lots of commodities traded all over the world. A lot of them had great benefits to the people who were getting them. Sometimes those people even came up with new ideas for them. In short, commodities were an important part of the world’s history. There were several different groups of commodities traded between 1500 and 1800. There will be three focused on here. I know that I am one of a bunch of people who love to cook with spices. Without this exchange, we would have some pretty bland food. Also, can you imagine not having sugar. This was another important product of the exchange. In my opinion, without this exchange we would be a vastly different world
