1. I have experienced a wonderful time at La Mojarra Loca Restaurant. This place has a great personal service. When I get there one of the employees welcomes me in and then walks me to the table, then another employee has the attention to bring some chips with salsa while I decide what to choose. After, I choose what food plate I want the waiter or waitress walks close by me asking if everything is good, just in case my food is not cooked properly or I want more chips. After I’m done with my meal the employee asked if I would like some dessert. I love this question because sometimes I do ask for a flan. I just enjoyed the way they ask me all this because I can see their facial expression if they are happy or moody. All those attentions that …show more content…
Not everything is good sometimes. I have also experience a bad costumer service. I had it at Las Islitas Mexican Restaurant. In that occasion I call a week before to make a reservation. I have heard that in that place they had mariachi during weekends. I decide to make sure if they had it before I made the reservation. The manager from there answer my call he confirm that they will have Mariachi. The day arrived and we were seated down. I was excited because it was birthday. I assumed they would ask everybody for a drink or appetizers. They finally decided to ask after being seated for 30 minutes. I was disappointed by then, but I was there so mind as well go through it. I noticed that it was getting late and no Mariachi was playing and I decided to ask if they were going to show up, one of the employees informed me the mariachi were on their way. I was not going to order any food because I did not want to eat without music playing. The mariachi finally arrived and the manager from the restaurant brought me the mariachi band and he told them that I will pay them. One, as a manager you should inform the guest that they have to pay for each song to be played by the mariachi. At other restaurants the mariachi is already paid by the same restaurant. Therefore, the customers enjoy and ask for music at their will. I talk to the manager he was the same one that pick up my call and we argue and I left because they were charging a very good amount to play so I decide to leave and

League City’s Marinas Mexican Restaurant & Bar is a favorite for locals and visitors alike for its vibrant and fresh spin on traditional Mexican cuisine, served in its friendly and relaxing eatery. The fried mushrooms in a buttermilk batter served with chipotle ranch dipping sauce and a cup of the chile con queso make delectable starter options. Some of Marinas Mexican Restaurant & Bar’s specialty entrée dishes include the tequila lime tilapia with roasted jalapenos, the battered and fried stuffed avocado filled with ground beef and shredded chicken and the quesadilla burger in a flour tortilla with pico de gallo and cheese. When young Neil Millar arrived in Cairns in 1959, he worked first at the Old Pacific Hotel, then at the Great Northern, before heading overseas. On his return, he found employment in Mareeba, enjoying it enough to remain up the hill three years, before descending the range for a job at the Ancient Mariner, and then moving on for two years at George's Bistro, at which point he felt possessed of sufficient experience to launch his own establishment. In 1975, he opened Millar's Restaurant, located opposite the Captain Cook statue on Sheridan St, with business partners Pieter Hamelink and Keith Holt. Subsequently, when Keith and Pieter left to launch their own business, Vanny Wraight came onboard as a silent partner. Enamoured of all things ecclesiastic (except the religious element), of a similar bent to that of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Neil furnished Millar's with pre-loved church furnishings, long tables, pews and an ornate pulpit.…

My expectations before participating in this activity was for it to not be as authentic as it was. I did not realize that there was a place downtown that had such real and good food and wondered why I haven’t heard of this place before. Also, I was surprised with the poverty I saw around the area. I have always grown up in areas that have a decent amount of money and have never been to a spanish speaking country or area before. This experience really opened my eyes to the fact that there are places out there that still have authenticity and still try to resist becoming “Americanized” in society.…
