Kid Caudi Research Paper

If I had the chance to talk to anyone for 30 minutes living or dead I think I would have to talk to an artist by the name Kid Cudi. He is a rapper who i have grown up listening to since i was 12 years old. His music is a mix of hip hop and alternative rock and it has such a unique twist to it. His real name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, but he goes mostly just by Kid Cudi. I would want to have a conversation with Kid Cudi and ask him about his experiences that have shaped him as the person he is today and has shaped his style and genre of music. Kid Cudi often raps about his mental illness and how he has struggled to overcome the battle with his depression. He conveys such emotion in every one of his songs, but he makes it sound so happy and …show more content…
I'd ask him how he has been dealing with his depression how he doesn't let it interfere with his work and projects, because as a person also suffering from depression I would want advice from someone I look up to who is also going through the same feelings and emotions I am going through. I would also want to explain to him that he has helped me get through really tough times. Every Time i've had a mental break i just pop on one of his songs and get the feeling of hope knowing someone is being able to get through their issues all while doing something they love. He inspires me and I would love to have at least a 30 minute conversation with him so i can show him that he does of an impact on other people's lives and to let him know to never give up. Cudi is a rapper in an industry where it is unheard of to talk about your feelings and letting people know that everything is going to be fine. The rap industry is filled of rappers just talking about being rich, doing drugs, and having all the women in the world, So he is doing something different and giving hope to kids who come from families where they believe that mental illness isn't an actual thing and isn't
