Thousands of years ago when Iceland was a newborn country, all ethnicities lived wherever they pleased no matter the race. Kaitlyn was a beautiful young girl with curly brown hair and happened to be the daughter of the president. Jenner was a slim, tall, black haired girl. She did anything she wanted and Kaitlyn didn't like it, but they were still best friends. Everything was equal and no one treated anyone differently, until people began to lose their jobs. They suffered for food and clothing and began to steal and hurt people, it got out of hand. There was a line drawn between poor people and wealthy people.More and more people were unhappy and started

It felt like an hour before Jenner came back with her mother by her side.
Her mom lifted up her jacket to reveal a small blow up raft, big enough for the three of them though.
Kaitlyn’s face lit up. She grabbed the raft and began to blow it up with Jenner and her mom. When the raft was finished they quickly pushed it into the water and got on. They could faintly see the figure of the ship and headed their way. They used blocks of wood as paddles and were making good time. It took them 2 days to see a glimpse of land, they were starved and haven’t had food or water in 2 days.
They ended up right on the same dock they came on and snuck around behind the ship to avoid getting seen. They got out of the raft and Kaitlyn ran to her house eager to see her father and eat food. She swung open the door and ran to her dads office. His head was down and he looked as if he just finished crying for the past 2 days which he probably was. His faces looked sad but his eyes were filled with joy.
“Dad!” Kaitlyn’s eyes filled with tears of joy as she ran to give her dad a hug.
