This week I talked to Jeremiah Thompson Judson Universities personnel and payroll administer. He wears multiple hats and runs the universities HR department. I asked him if we had an ethics policy and he sent the Mission and vision statement that employees sign when they first applied to Judson. Below are the standards that are asked of employees.

In this section it states that. “Judson University requires Trustees, administration, faculty, staff and students to commit to a comprehensive lifestyle statement reflective of biblical principles. Each person is required to affirm this statement and acknowledge that they will honor those commitments while associated to the university.” An example of this, when you are working any event at Judson you are not allowed to drink any form of alcohol. Outside of events, you need to represent the university as well and hold yourself well within the community. So getting drunk and allowing things you consume to take over are not allowed. Even though you have to sign this at the beginning of your time at Judson, you will still see it at meetings, first of the year chapels and on the Judson Website. I think Judson does a great job at having this document available at all
