While reading the letters written by Abigail and John Adams, I noticed that they were written differently than if someone from today’s society had written them. They were written well, clearly thought out and pleasantly worded. There may have been an occasional misspelled word; however, despite that, it is obvious that both Adams were highly intelligent. It is a shame that people today do not give the same careful attention to their written communications.
