Before her fame She was selected for the Actors’ Training Program because of her excellent marksmanship. She was formerly married to an actor Jimmy Lau from 1985 to 1990. After a year goes by she met cardiologist Peter Hui the fell inlove and got married in January 18,1992. They had two daughters Angela and Audrey. They move to San Francisco California.

When she was 14 she was she was selected for the Actor’s Training Program by the Shanghai Film Studio and made her first debut album film Xie Jin’s Youth 1976, In her very young age she felt so luck to step in a very big event especially you gain fame and you are part of people to be recognize. When she was 17 she entered to Shanghai International Studies University, where she took up the majored in English.Few years she went to US to study film making, and graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge. She had been to many Succes in her career starting in her younger years. She put all her effort, strength and heart in her career. People were amazed from her passion with her young age, Even the chairman’s wife was impressed and captivated to her personality and ability of her passion and delivering her acting
