Khaled Mohamed Khaled commonly referred to as “DJ Khaled” is a music producer, author, and radio personality. DJ Khaled was born in Louisiana on November 26, 1975, to two Palestinian immigrants who came to the United States in search for a better life. DJ Khaled got his first break when he worked his way up to be the number one rated radio host on 99 Jamz located in Southern Florida. Since then DJ Khaled has collaborated with some of the most influential people on the planet including: Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Beyonce, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Alicia Keys. Cultural, social, and political subjects have affected the larger than life DJ Khaled’s work.

One of the producers key sayings that became obscenely popular is “stay away from they.” On every talk show the mogul went on the hosts often asked him “who is they?” To this the music producer responded “they are the enemy. “they” want to keep the keys hidden and block you from the pathway of more success, and “they” want to see you to fail.” In other words, “they” are the people that want to see you see fail in life, and these are the people that DJ Khaled doesn't surround himself with. It has been said that a person should surround themselves with people “that will inspire you to be a better person, provide you with motivation to achieve your goals, empower you to make the changes you need to succeed and cheer on your success (Logothetis).” The environment around DJ Khaled is always one that wants to see him do well, and maybe that's why he's so successful. However, certain political issues caused DJ Khaled to reevaluate who he was as a person. In 2001 DJ Khaled went by the name “Arab Attack”, after 9/11 the mogul had to completely change his identity as his name would surely hold him back from truly making it in the world due to its inappropriateness.
Although DJ Khaled has had many hit singles, two of the executive producers best hits would include “I’m the one” and “All I do is Win.” DJ Khaled biggest hit “ I’m the one” features Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Quavo,

It’s hard to see who really is wealthy, or who is actually working religiously to make their dreams come true.

DJ Khaled’s song “All I do is win”, is referred to by many as the song that solidified the moguls career as a true player in the music industry. The song features influential people such as: Ludacris, Rick Ross, T Pain, and Snoop Dogg. Believe it or not the song is actually about always winning in life no matter what circumstances you’re facing. The chorus of the song is:

All I do is win win win no matter what
Got money on my mind I can never get enough
And every time I step up in the buildin'
Everybody hands go up
And they stay there
And they say yeah
And they stay there
Up down, up down, up
