There are many good receivers, but but there is no receiver like
Jerry Rice. Jerry Lee Rice was born on October 13th, 1962, in Starkville,
Mississippi. He started working for his dad’s work. When he was at school he was was running and the principal saw him and he stopped and said
“do you want to be punished or do you want to join the football team”.
He decided to join the football team. The principal told the coach about his speed. His coach was shocked. Jerry Rice was married to Jacqueline
Bernice Mitchell. They were divorced in 2009. His mom is Eddie Rice.
His dad’s name is Joe Rice. His brothers are Tom Rice and D.J Thump.
His daughters are Jaqui Rice and Jada Rice. Jerry Rice has brown eyes.

Jerry is one of the best receivers ever. He broke many records. Jerry Rice was an incredible receiver, he won many superbowls .
One of those superbowls was Super Bowl XXII where he won the MVP award. He also won super bowl XXIX. In 1993 he was offensive player of the year. He is holding the record for most career receptions,
1,549. Jerry Rice has many more records, and won many more awards.
That’s what made Jerry Rice one of the best receivers. Jerry Rice has broken thousands of records, but I can only tell you a few records. Jerry Rice has the most 1,000 yard seasons by a receiver,14 seasons.He has the most career receiving yards, 22,895.
Jerry Rice played the most games by a position player, 303.
He holds so many records, some people call him the best ever.

To me Jerry’s best seon is 1995, and I am going to tell you why. Rice had 122 receptions. He also had 1,848 receiving yards. Jerry also had 15 touchdowns. This is why I think 1995 is
Jerry’s best season. There were four teams Jerry Rice played for, and he is the reason these teams were good. He played with the 49ers from 1985 to 2000. He played with the raiders from 2001 to 2004.
