For this situation, I would assume that I would already have the signed Location Agreement on hand, like Erika said. This would be helpful in case the storekeeper wants to back out of the agreement. Therefore, I would be able to show the document to them in order to explain that they had signed a contract. If it is possible, I would work with the crew and storekeeper to allow access to the shop. If not, I would try to renegotiate with a new agreement, like Taylah said. We did not bid it to be a fix contract like we currently have with the snow. We had talked about doing this in the future; however, to do that would require a re-bidding of the contract as it would require a new contract. Is this something the board want to do? I am also concerned about the week to week supervising that will be required with our continue relationship with Chad. To be honest he has shown himself to be untrustworthy and I typically don't like to do business with those type of people.…

Our National Listserv Moderator and KBC Faculty member, Len Gabbay, agrees with Robert. Len encourages us to argue to the court that our client’s medical bills are not probative of any issue in the case since the cost of medical treatment is not an issue in the case. Len Gabbay warns that if the Defense subpoenas the bills, then we should file a motion to Quash the subpoena. According to Len, we must force the defense to articulate why the medicals…

Dastmalchi LLC developed several keys to success when the firm launched. Their “fast follower” strategy led them to penetrate many different markets and target different audiences, while maintaining low operational costs. The company had the ability to predict which new products would be successful in the market and quickly release their own, more affordable, version to the public. This strategy was carried out by the company finding manufactures of the product and repackaging and rebranding the product to make it their own. Rather than using their own resources to innovate and market their own unique products, Dastmalchi found a way to piggyback off the success of others.…

“The criminal justice system failed Donald Marshall, Jr. at virtually every turn from his arrest and wrongful conviction for murder in 1971, up to, and even beyond, his acquittal by the Court of Appeal in 1983.” What is one to do when racism overshadows the law? For Donald, there was nothing that he could do. His background made him susceptible to having an unfair accusation take away countless years of his life that he won’t ever get back, and unfortunately, that was the norm for many Mi’kmaq people. For him, however, it wasn’t just being sentenced to community service; Donald Marshall Jr. was wrongfully given the title of a murderer.…

I disagree completely with this statement. In the film, every moment counts it mentions how Margret whom is three years old currently expressing her feelings and understanding that her baby brother was not going to make it. Kastenbaum mentions how “a child(s) understanding of death is influenced by both maturation level and life experience, although much remains to be learned about the both interaction of these factors” (Kastenbaum 314). Margret seems to be very mature for her age and therefore helps her understand that her brother is dying. Margret’s family communicating with her about her brother’s death could also help her understand for example Kastenbaum mentions how, “develop and maintain an open communication pattern with children is extremely helpful because it helps the child develop skills that would prove to be useful in difficult situations” (Kastenbaum, 325).…
