Is Defibrinated Sheep's Blood (DSB) To Microgravity?

The experiment addresses the question by exposing two samples of defibrinated sheep’s blood (DSB) to microgravity, then mixing one of the samples with Celox Hemostatic Granules, which will induce clotting in that sample. In total, four samples will be available to compare with each other: one that clotted in microgravity, one that didn’t clot, but was exposed to microgravity, one that clotted in regular Earth gravity, and one that didn’t clot, but was exposed to regular Earth gravity. Measuring will include sending samples to [expert] for examination and comparing samples to each other by observing them under a compound light microscope, giving objective measurements in the form of the examination results as well as relative measurements in the form of the visual comparisons.

The ground truth experiment will be initiated on Day=0 as well, and commands given to the astronauts will be identical to the commands given in the ground truth experiment. In Volumes One and Two, Celox will be mixed with DSB by gently shaking the Fluid Mixing Encapsulator, leaving Volume Three unmodified.
The purpose of the ground truth experiment is to provide a comparison of the experiment done in a microgravtational environment to that on Earth. This provides four different samples for analysis, which allows for more accuracy. The ground truth experiment is also useful for proving past data and confirming statistics stated by Celox ™.
The results will be collected by observing the samples under a compound light microscope provided by and located at Lincoln Middle School. Sending the samples to [expert],who is an expert in hematology and [field],will enforce observations made by the compound light microscope as [expert] has a more powerful microscope. [He/She] will observe the differences, if any, in the structure of the blood clots, and the observations will be reported back to Lincoln Middle
