Inyo Dispensary Case Study

A second Nevada marijuana dispensary has come on line after months of setbacks and frustrations. Inyo, which opened last Thursday caters to the medical marijuana set since recreational adult use is not yet legal in Nevada.
At the Inyo dispensary, which is roughly a mile from the strip, security is a top priority. To enter the facility a patient must first allow their drivers license and medical marijuana card to be scanned for review. Then double-locked doors reminiscent of a space shuttle pressure chamber allow the patient to enter the waiting room.
From there the patient proceeds to the back part of the store where a budtender spends one-on-one time assisting the patient with their purchase. After the transaction is complete, the patient
