In terms of gender differences, it is found that there is a difference in the way man and woman express intimacy. Also, it was suggested that women and men are developed in different environment and culture which advocate varied personality characteristics, value system, communication styles, gender roles, problem-solving techniques and expectations for relationships (Weinberger, Hofstein, & Whitbourne, 2008).
