Edwina Jarret works in the agency by the name of the dove house, and it is a non-profit agency.
2. When the agency was established
The company has been in the making for 10 years, but the office located in Ann Arbor is a year old and its anniversary was held just this month on 2nd of April.

The agency’s mission statement is “We are here to gently assist on the path to healing and recovery by serving individuals who strive to make healthy choices for peace and happiness of mind, body and spirit in their everyday lives. What are some of the different services provided by the agency provides?
They work with people of all ages and people who are going through any kind of trouble. People who are in pain or are ill, depressed, or are going through trauma recovery, DIS, ADHD, ADD, OCD and they also encourage people to get on track.
6. The effectiveness of these services according to the social worker interviewee?
According to Miss Jarret “We change lives”, it’s so wonderful to see clients recovering from the stress or the struggle they are going through. It also depends on the persons need, I have people coming in who need me for six months and sometimes clients stay more than three years. Once they get get their coping skills, they can work through it if they go through crisis again.
7. What degree(s) did you earn and what university (ies) did you get your degree(s) from?
She holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from Eastern Michigan University with one in Social Work and the other in Criminology. She has also earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and is a trained clinician of Critical Incident Stress Management, Assist and Safe Talk along with Psychiatric Emergency Procedures.

Jarret mentioned that she does everything different each day which helps her avoid burn out. She works with different types of people who need different types of help. She has been a social worker for a long time and in her belief she believes that working with diverse group of people helps avoid the burn out in the social work field. She also stated that keeping a healthy boundary also avoids burn out because keeping a balance between work and life is important. Mrs. Jarret believes that having a healthy relationship and keeping a home-like environment helps her clients feel more comfortable to talk about their struggles and get help from
