I’ve been shown with this experience how important it is for me to keep working at my people skill, that my ability to efficiently communicate is the bases for success with a sales job like selling flooring or lighting fixtures. This internship has helped me grow as a person and gain confidence. My favorite part of my internship was when Cozette and I were working with a client on a new construction job. The client brought in a completed floor plan, and came to select finishes and cabinetry. As we were walking through the floor plan we discussed the layouts of the bathrooms and kitchen. Being the owner of two businesses in the same location, owning the building and being involved with the community Eydie would be stressed, somedays more than others. She has been known to lose client paper work from time to time. Over all I’d give my internship a 8 out of 10 rating, 10 being the very best. I would have benefited from more training on the products. I asked questions when I could, but being the only person working Eydie always had paper work to do or shipments coming in she had to take care
