In Chapter Seven, the main focus was to distinguish all types of interest groups and explain why individuals join these groups. Interest groups, "are associates of people who hold common vies and who work together to influence what government does"(Turner el, at. 202). In their interest groups, they all have similar political goals and interests, by campaigning for their policies it helps work against the opposing policies.
