As a primary female university, TWU is committed to diversity and to the transformation of the lives of its male students. However, there are areas for change. Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs and activities (McClellan & Marquez Kiyami, 2023). At TWU, Title IX policies and procedures play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and equitable learning environment for both female and male students. TWU must remain committed to enhancing training programs for students, faculty, and staff to promote awareness and effective response. Additionally, to remain fluid with 21st century higher education student demographics, leaders at TWU must strengthen policies related to accessibility for students with disabilities. Also, leaders and administrators must ensure that facilities, digital resources, and academic materials are accessible to all students. Texas Woman’s University’s commitment to change must also include health and wellness services. To aid in this endeavor, assessment of existing health and wellness services and consideration of expanding mental health resources and preventive care programs must remain at the forefront of policies and procedures.
