“OOOO I’m not going to make it I’m not going to make it”, “Sweetie when was the last time you ate something, I’m pretty sure it was the day before yesterday”, “OWWWW I’m Dying!” These scenes seem weird to the naked mind right? Well for someone with Crohn’s disease this is a routine day. Throughout the Couse of this speech I hope to enlighten my audience of the origin of Crohns disease and the exercises taken to delay the disease. This ailment when discovered to late or without treatment may become fatal and has controlled the lives of millions. This disease aside from its embarrassing nature and tactics has been the ultimate disability for many people’s lives throughout generations. I plan to discuss facts unfamiliar and recognized about this cruel and seemingly minuscule sickness. As I …show more content…
Under normal circumstances these harmless bacteria would be overlooked by the white cells but instead are mistaken for harmful bacteria that are attacked which generates the very disease. In simpler terms Crohn’s Disease is defined as an inflammatory bowel disease that causes inflammation of the lining of your digestive tract which can lead to abdominal pain, fatigue, and malnutrition. According to historycooperative.org, Crohns disease was first discovered by Dr. Burrill Bernard Crohn and his two colleagues, Dr. Gordon Oppenheimer and Dr. Leon Ginzburg, these doctors formally discovered the disease in 1932, with the disease taking the name of Dr. Burrill B Crohn. Fun fact, the earliest case of Crohns dates back to Greek antiquita Even Hippocrates (~460–370 BCE).
